Day 1: London to Würzburg
We depart St Pancras International by Eurostar to Brussels. Our journey continues to Cologne and Würzburg, where we stay at the Hotel Amberger.

Day 2: Travelling to Prague
Today we travel by train into the Czech Republic and we arrive in Prague in the afternoon. After checking in to the Hotel Mövenpick you have some time to get your bearings and to enjoy dinner in one of the many restaurants of the city.

Day 3: Guided sightseeing in Prague
Today we enjoy a guided walking tour of the Old Town. Marvel at one of Europe's most unspoilt cities, with a stunning Old Town Square and the famous astronomical clock, Charles Bridge and Prague Castle.

Day 4: Prague Christmas Markets
Enjoy a day exploring Prague's Christmas Markets. A great place to start is the Old Town Square, with its wooden stalls huddled around the Jan Hus monument, or Wenceslas Square, Prague's grand boulevard. Smaller markets are held at Havel Market and Republic Square. Warm a crisp winter's day with svarák mulled wine and return to the Old Town Square after darkness falls to witness the impressive Christmas tree lights amidst the square's Gothic and Baroque splendour.

Day 5: Prague to Berlin
Today we travel northwards through Bohemia, into Germany and along the Elbe Valley, a scenic landscape of crags and table mountains dubbed 'Saxon Switzerland'. On arrival in Berlin we transfer to our hotel for two nights, the Grand City Hotel Berlin Mitte.

Day 6: Berlin's Christmas Markets
After a morning guided sightseeing tour of Berlin, the rest of the day is free to explore some of the German capital's varied Christmas Markets. There are several to choose from, including the market at the Opera House on the Unter den Linden boulevard, another at Gendarmenmarkt, arguably the city's most attractive square, and further markets at Alexanderplatz, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and around the
Town Hall.

Day 7: Berlin to London
This morning we depart Berlin, heading westwards through Germany to Cologne, where we change for Brussels. Here we join the connecting Eurostar service to St Pancras International.
