7-Day Break

Day 1 – Local departure by coach then onwards to Belgium for an overnight stay.
Day 2 – We continue east across Germany to reach Berlin and our hotel for four nights. B, D
Day 3 – Berlin (included). Enjoy a full day exploring the Christmas Markets of Berlin. One of the most popular markets is situated next to Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church amidst the bustle of shoppers on the high street between the Kurfüstendamm and Tauenzien. B, D
Day 4 – Potsdam (included). An included half day excursion to Potsdam, which offers five Christmas Markets around the city – the favourite being in Old Potsdam, close to Sanssouci Palace. B, D
Day 5 – Dresden (optional). Join our optional excursion to Dresden. Dresden's Christmas Market is traditionally called Striezelmarkt and is Germany's oldest Christmas Market, dating back to 1434. Its name derives from Hefestriezel, a sweet delicacy, which has become known as ‘Dresden Christstollen’ (German Christmas Cake). B, D
Day 6 – To Belgium for an overnight stay. B
Day 7 – We arrive in Calais for our return journey home. B

Accommodation

You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Ramada Globus Berlin. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and lift. All bedrooms have T.V. and telephone. Overnights stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.
